Ally
Ally came to us very undernourished and needed some TLC to get back to health. She also was kept for 8 month by herself which caused her to have severe separation anxiety . When she came to us she was mentally and bodily exhausted. We had a discussion with the vet and most likely resulted from not being able to rest and feel safe for 8 month prior. She has now turned into a lovely older mare and has found the best home with one of our regular clients. She is now loved by her own young girl and loves every minute of it.

Firefly
Firefly came to us a while back and is a very young little welsh x. She is was 2 years old when she arrived and has turned 5 this year. Firefly has now found a new home with a little boy on a farm and is enjoying all her new adventures with him.

Paddington
Paddington came to us in 2021. We decided to have a look at the scrubby boy who was advertised on an on-sale page. Once we arrived and it was time to get him in from the paddock we unfortunately had to witness how the owner chased him with a car to get caught. We tried to interfere and tell him we would like to try to get him on our own, but were shut down. ( the chase went on for approx 90min) We made then the decision, that it doesn't matter if he has anything wrong with him or his price will be high, he is going to come home with us. We just couldn't let him stay there.
Paddington has some trust issues (we are not surprised) , but he is developing each week a bit more trust towards us. He is very sweet and wouldnt hurt a fly. He wants to trust, but struggles to let go. We wont give up on this man and will continue to help him back on the road of enjoying human company. Paddjngton has jow found a home with one of our agistees who is just in love with him. he will get the time he needs to find his trust again and has taken a real liking to his new paddock matee and his new mum. We can see him enagaging in play with his mates and with his mum.

Chaplin
Chaplin (also known as Chappy) came to us very undernourished and was saved from the sales. The only bidder against us was the dogger. Luckily he was able to come home with us and could get the TLC he needed to get back to health. He was straight away the favorite with all the girls. He is now in perfect health and looks just stunning. He is still very young (turning approx 5 this year) and needs still quite a bit of training under saddle. He can be a bit unsure about new challenges and can shy. However, he is developing great and we are sure that he will be in a few years time, a stunner at any show.
He is atm up for finding his new forever home, but will continue his training till we have found the right partner for him.
Chapplin has found his new home with a family who has two teenagers. He is getting absolutely spoiled in his new home. He was purchased for the girls, but Chappy has won the heart of the Dad and is just following him anywhere and would do anything for his new dad😉

Luna
Lina is our cheeky little yealing . She came to us with her mum and is growing rapidly. She never had seen any humans till we picked her and her mum up. She is very inquisitive and cheeky, but started to get some handling and ground work lessons.

Copper
Copper was to us surrendered by his owner. She had fallen on hard times and just couldn't give Copper the care anymore he needed. It was a very hard decision for her, but she wanted to best for her boy.
Copper needed some TLC to get back up into health and started off with small feeds several times during the Day. He needed some medication for his eye and his skin condition.
He is now gaining nicely and will start soon some light work to get his muscles building up again. He is very sweet and has taken quite a few hearts since he is with us.

Torah
.
Torah is an OTT and came to us by chance. We've got a call : either you can take her or she goes on the truck.
She was 4 years old at that time. So we couldnt say no. She arrived and was quite a handful in the beginning. We let her come down from the race feed and started slowly to build her up. She is partnered in a paddock with one of our lead mares who keeps her in check. :-) She needs a firmer hand on the ground, cause if you let her get away with stuff she will take advantage.
Torah is now a school horse and is doing really great with it.
Torah has been bought by one of our instructors and is still bejng used in the school as well. She adores her new mum and loves all the attention she gets😊

Gigi
(Has found her forever home)
Gigi is also a OTT and she came to us form her racing owner. She was a bit spoiled and needed some groundwork sessions to understand respect and manners. She was quickly ready to get some under saddle training and also started up in the school. She quickly became a favourite and developed into a great jumper. She has found now her forever home with a teenager who just adores her.

Eclipse
Eclipse is Luna's mum. She came to us with her 2 week old foal and needed some TLC for a skin condition. She had minimal handling and has started handling sessions. She is very sweet and is always will ask you for more food when you walk by. :-)
Eclipse has been purchased by a good friend of mine and has started her training. She has progressed amazingly and is now teaching kids how to ride and takes little ones for pony rides.
Manuwie

Pinocchio
Pinocchio is one of our recues. He is welsh x and came quite timid. However, he had gained more trust each day and enjoys a brush or wash down. he was still in handling training when onejof our libg term agistees approached us to adopt him. he is now living with 2 other ponies together and has developed into a quite chunky character. he loves his new mum and live.

Kalika
(has Found her forever home)
Kalika came to us with Chaplin and was very undernourished. She got the TLC to get back to health and turned out too be a stunning palomino mare. She hyad a few trust issues but was gaining each month some more confidence. We had her working with an outside trainer to get her broken in, but she wasnt ready for that yet. So she got a few more month in the paddock with gorund work and handling sessions.
Last month we unfortunately need to start downsizing due to Covid/ weather giving us a hard time to regulate the income we need to keep running and giving the horses the care they need. The decision was made to find Kalika a new home were she can develop. It broke our heart but we just didnt have the time or financial means to work further with her on her education. She has found the perfect home for herself and is now under saddle with her new owner as well as started jumping. It is one of the best home she could have wished for her and she looks like she is having an absolute ball. :-)

Razzie
(School horse)
Razzie was one of the first horses Dez took in. She was in quite a bad body condition when Dez looked at her, but was still sweet enough to carry her rider around. Dez just couldn't leave her behind and took her on. She needed quite a few sessions with a chiro/physio and vet to get back to best self, but she did. Unfortunately , Razzie got into an accident when she was used by another person for a ride and sustained an injury where no one thought she could come back from to get back under saddle. Dez didn't shy any expense and got vets, physios, chiros, therapist etc out to Razzie, but no one thought she will recover enough. Dez decided to give Razzie some time and with checking with the vet if her body is healthy enough , she decided to get Razzie into foal. Razzie was living for 18 month with the owner of the stallion and had a beautiful colt. After the colt was weaned , Razzie came back home. Unfortunately, she didn't come back in good condition. The vet was called on arrival and Razzie needed for quite a few weeks medication to recover. Dez got her back into health and was in constant contact with the vet to see if Razzie could be tried under saddle. After several checks the vet gave the green light and didn't see any reason why she wouldn't be able to be ridden.
Razzie is nhow back into full school work and enjoys it. She is even starting to develop muscle where no one thought she can anymore. She is in constant treatment with our Physio and is just getting praises each time when she is having a session. Everyone is amazed at her come back. There goes; Never give up, even if a lot of people tell you there is no way.
